In this hybrid role, you will act as a bridge between our innovation programs and the market, helping to expand our footprint across Switzerland and Europe. You will be actively involved in shaping our business development strategies and delivering services across the region.
Key Task & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-potential clients — corporates, investors, and startups — in Switzerland and Europe, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic guidance on open innovation initiatives.
- Lead the end-to-end business development process, from initial discovery to designing, refining, and delivering tailored high-value proposals aligned with client objectives and Tenity’s offerings.
- Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities by leveraging market insights and networks, and align regional business development strategies with emerging trends in fintech, innovation, and sustainability.
- Represent Tenity across Switzerland and Europe at client meetings, workshops, and industry events, strengthening brand presence and fostering key partnerships.
- Maintain accurate client data and manage business development pipelines using CRM tools like HubSpot to ensure high-quality, client-centric deliverables.
- Travel regularly within Switzerland and Europe to support business growth and client engagement (30-50%).
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pre-sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, ideally within fintech, innovation, or startup ecosystems. Experience in Financial Services is a strong advantage.
- Proven ability to develop and close complex, high-value proposals with corporate clients and investors.
- Strong knowledge of open innovation methodologies, corporate innovation practices, and startup ecosystems in Switzerland and Europe.
- Skilled in market analysis, data-driven strategy development, and proficient in CRM tools like HubSpot.
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, goal-oriented, resilient, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Well-connected network within the regional fintech, corporate innovation, and startup communities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Innovation, or a related field; a advanced degree a plus.
- Eligible to work lawfully in Switzerland or the EU without visa sponsorship.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German and/or French is highly advantageous.
