In this hybrid role, you will act as a bridge between our innovations and the market, helping to expand our footprint by engaging with potential clients and managing partnerships. You will be actively involved in shaping our business development strategies and delivering programs in our active markets.


Key Task & Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-potential clients, including corporates, investors, and startups, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and delivering tailored open innovation proposals.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Tenity Asia and regional teams to design, refine, and present complex, high-value proposals aligned with client objectives. Lead the end-to-end pre-sales process, from initial discovery to proposal delivery, ensuring alignment with Tenity’s offerings and client goals.
  • Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities, leveraging your network and market insights to drive new business in APAC. Support the regional business development strategy by aligning proposals with market trends and client needs, and building partnerships with key stakeholders across the fintech and innovation ecosystems.
  • Analyze market trends and emerging opportunities in open innovation, sustainability, and adjacent verticals to inform product vision and strategy. Actively engage with industry events, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives to strengthen Tenity’s presence in the region.
  • Manage and maintain client data, proposal details, and business development pipelines using HubSpot or similar CRM tools, ensuring high-quality, client-centric deliverables by working closely with internal teams and leveraging new technologies where applicable.
  • Act as a key representative for Tenity in the APAC region, including attending client meetings, facilitating workshops, and participating in high-profile events. Be prepared to travel extensively within the APAC region to meet business needs.

Your Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, ideally within the innovation, fintech, or startup sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and closing complex proposals with high-value clients.
  • Strong understanding of open innovation methodologies, corporate innovation practices, and startup ecosystems.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Adept at market analysis and leveraging data to inform business strategies.
  • Proficient in CRM tools like HubSpot and experienced in managing business pipelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.
  • Goal-oriented, resilient, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong network within the APAC fintech, corporate innovation, or startup ecosystems.
  • Eligible to work lawfully without visa sponsorship in the APAC region.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages relevant to the APAC region are highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the APAC region as required.
